weird period last mth.?
Last mth period was really, weird. it came on a day late & when it came on it was really light the first day which is really weird for me. then the nxt day it was a little bit heavier but not like my regular first/second day period. & it was on longer than normal. can an std affect this, like chylamdia or should i be worried about being pregnant?

Ok so can someone find a really like paragraph-short biography of Thomas Jefferson [so I can make it into my own words later]?
Here’s a biography I found but its too long so maybe if someone could just summarize it that would be great too..
Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826), 3d PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. As the author of the Declaration of Independence and the Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom, he is probably the most conspicuous champion of political and spiritual freedom in his country’s history. He voiced the aspirations of the new nation in matchless phrase, and one may doubt if any other American has been so often quoted. As a public official–legislator, diplomat, and executive–he served the province and commonwealth of Virginia and the young American republic almost 40 years. While his services as a Revolutionary patriot have been honored by his countrymen with only slight dissent, his later and more controversial political activities have been variously interpreted. Believing that the government was not being conducted in the spirit of 1776, he turned against the administration in Washington’s second term and remained in opposition during the presidency of John Adams. Jefferson, who was president from 1801 to 1809, was the acknowledged head of his political party, and his election to the highest office has been interpreted as a vindication of the right of political opposition. His ELECTION checked in the United States the tide of political reaction that was sweeping the Western world, and it furthered the development of political democracy. What flavour will combine well with chocolate, vanilla and mango?
I am making a three tiered cake and my hope is that you could eat adjacent layers together.
Bottom layer :
Cake flavour = chocolate
Icing flavour ideas = espresso, chocolate, caramel…
Middle layer :
Cake flavour = vanilla
Icing flavour ideas = citrus, vanilla, caramel, cinnamon…
Top layer :
Cake flavour = mango
Icing flavour ideas = cinnamon…
I’m hoping that you might be able to combine the mango & cinnamon with vanilla & lemon, or chocolate & espresso with vanilla & vanilla
I need the icing of the vanilla layer to combine well with both the chocolate and mango flavours - any ideas?
You are in danger of spoiling what you are creating by having a conflict of flavours.
Do the three flavours and combine the layers with Plain Icing or Whipped cream. DON’T add another flavour.The icing could be flavoured with the same flavour as the tier.

I agree with Cynthia that you are in danger of having too many flavors going on. I am not sure I would use cinnamon icing on mango cake. One theory of flavor is that what grows together goes together so coconut might work.

Realism in the movie 'X-men Origins: Wolverine"?
As most of us know that ‘Wolverine’ can heal himself because he’s a mutant… but when Stryker shot him in the head I found it rather unrealistic to lose all of his memory. I’ve studied the brain as I am in medical classes and it doesn’t seem to add up at all of his memory was in those certain spots. In earlier movies he remembers things through ‘flashbacks’ or dreams but it’s only a small amount.
– What I also found odd is that if this is accurate then how was me not shot in the head in any one of the wars. This should cause the same effect
By the way — to one of the answerer’s the metal was Adamantium and I don’t think it would matter since a normal bullet would go clean through his head.
And when I say small amount I mean 225 years of information
I do realize this is a movie (I don’t really care how strong the actual bullet is)… it’s the fact that he lost his memories
It wasn’t a well made movie. Plot holes were bound to occur.

he may have been shot in another war, but not with a bullet of that super hard metal, i cant remember what is called. also, i think the point is that the new brain tissue that grows back has no memory in it, but not ALL of his brain tissue is destroyed, which is why he gets bits and pieces of flashbacks.

Well he was shot by an adamantium bullet, the same indestructible metal ‘inserted in his body. Though what I find it odd is that, adamantium is suppose to be indestructible, then Wolverine’s brain should still have that adamatium bullet. Well, it’s only a movie afterall.
It was the character Stryker who said that adamantium bullets will erase Wolverine’s memory. That’s how movies goes, full of inconsistencies. They would always come up with an impossible scenario.

IMDB rating: 5.80 Plot: The “Iron Curtain” is starting to come down around the Soviet Union under the leadership of Mikhail Gorbachev. A Soviet boxer named Ivan Drago, nicknamed “The Siberian Express”, comes to the United States with his wife, a Russian champion swimmer and coach for a guest match. Drago is a superbly conditioned boxer who has been scientifically trained in the USSR, and he & his coach propose a fight against Rocky Balboa. Rocky’s former adversary, Apollo Creed decides to take on Drago despite having been out of the ring for several years. Creed unwisely taunts Drago before the match, and after the first round, Drago issues a prophetic warning to Creed: “You will lose.” Unfortunately the warning comes true and Creed dies following a pounding by the Siberian Express. When death threats are made against the Russian boxer, he returns to the USSR and states if there is to be a match between Balboa & Drago, it will be in the USSR. To honor Creed’s memory, Rocky takes the Soviets up on their challenge and goes to Siberia to train for the match against the “Siberian Express”, that will take place in Moscow on Christmas Day, in front of a hostile audience. |
